Now that you have enrolled in the Distance Learning Program, you are a community of learners. This is a space for you to talk to each other, help each other, and talk with tutors. Students are often confused about the same things. You can look on the Discussion Board to see if someone else has struggled with an issue (and maybe solved it!) Just leave a comment below, and remember to be sweet to each other (appropriately!)

Hey everybody,
I highly recommend investing in a calculator for this distance learning program and bringing it with you on your scheduled class day. When we do math assignments in class, it will be highly beneficial if you can learn now how to calculate numbers more quickly using the calculator than by hand. Time is a VERY important factor when taking the test; learning how to use the calculator now will save you time when it is time to take the actual test.
The Casio-FX 260 is the official calculator for the GED.
Hav a great day everybody!!
See you all next week,
Brian
